Coordinador Académico de Anatomía y Fisiología
Licenciado en Ciencias Biológicas de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Magíster y Doctor en Ciencias Biológicas, mención Ciencias Fisiológicas, de la misma Casa de Estudio. Ha sido Investigador Postdoctoral en el Laboratorio de Ginecología de la Universidad Católica de Lovaina, Bélgica. Ha presentado su trabajo en congresos nacionales e internacionales además de publicar en reconocidas revistas indexadas (ISI/Web of Science) y se ha desempeñado como revisor de la revista Fertility and Sterility. Su línea de investigación se ha centrado en anatomía y patologías ginecológicas como cáncer de ovario y endometriosis. Actualmente se desempeña como coordinador del área de Fisiología y Fisiopatología y como director del programa de Magister en Ciencias Químicas y Biológicas. renan.orellana@ubo.cl
